Ages: 5 to 7
Length: 16-20 sessions, 1 hour each
Scratch Jr is basic block-based programming for pre-reader. Throughout various projects, young learners will become familiar with algorithm logical thinking. In part I of Scratch Jr, students will learn to make animated videos. In part 2, they will learn to make mini-games that they can play. In this learning process, they learn to solve problems, design projects, and express themselves creatively on the computer.
By the end of the course, students will be able to:
- Become familiar with block-based programing language for prereaders
- Develop critical, logical and algorithm thinking
- Able to create animations and games
