STEMA Learning-Surrey City Center offers after-school programs on Robotics, Coding, Science, Math, and Technology to kids from ages 5 and up.

We are looking for dynamic and organized individuals to join our team of STEAM/STEM facilitators. The ideal candidate will be comfortable leading conversations and developing engaging activities to explore a number of topics and will work closely with kids ages 5-14. Our facilitators will help us create a safe and fun learning environment for kids to explore and enjoy.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the classroom, assist students with the learning progress.
  • Guide students to work on different STEAM/STEM projects.
  • Complete students’ daily reports to be sent to parents.
  • Review curriculum before each session.
  • Help with curriculum development and provide feedback to improve curriculum quality.
  • Ensure the student’s completion of the project and provide feedback to parents.
  • Provide academic support and some tutoring services
  • Support a healthy, safe, and fun learning environment

Qualifications:

  • Energetic and enthusiastic individuals
  • Ability to work with children and create a fun and engaging environment
  • Excellent communication skills, and teamwork skills
  • Basic coding, technology, and engineering knowledge (Python, HTML/CSS, Javascript or the ability to learn quickly) is an asset.

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal, Internship / Co-op

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Schedule: Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person Vancouver or Surrey

We are seeking a casual driver based out of Surrey, BC, to shuttle students from elementary schools near Surrey City Center areas to our Learning Centre. This position may suit a semi-retired person with a clean driving record and a clean criminal record. May fit Uber/Lyft or food delivery drivers or semi-retired person for some fixed income.Requirements:
  • Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driving record
  • Organized, Reliable and Self-motivated
  • Flexible, can-do attitude.
  • Ability to work with children/minors,
  • Since you will be working with children, a clean police record check will be required upon request.

Position Overview:
As a Marketing and Sales Intern, you will play a vital role in promoting our STEAM programs and driving enrollment. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in marketing, sales, and community outreach within the educational sector. You will work closely with our branch manager to develop and implement strategies to increase brand awareness and engage with our target audience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns to promote our STEAM programs.
  • Create engaging content for social media, newsletters, and other marketing materials.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities for growth and partnerships.
  • Help manage and update the company’s website and social media platforms.
  • Support the sales function in identifying and reaching out to potential clients and partners.
  • Attend local events and represent the learning center to engage with the community.
  • Assist with the analysis of marketing and sales data to track the effectiveness of campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the team on special projects and initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and writing skills.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for education and STEAM subjects.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Previous experience in marketing or sales is a plus but not required.
